Developing Precision Invasive Neuromodulation for Psychiatry

What is it about?

We discuss future implementation of invasive neuromodulation that would be guided by patient-specific anatomy to more precisely provide treatment. Intracranial stimulation for epilepsy is used as an analogous framework for treatment of psychiatric disorders through identification and subsequent disruption of identified casual neural circuits.
