What is it about?
We studied patients who were cared for at Kaiser Permanente Northern California from 2009 to 2019 for rates of psychotic disorders, as well as the consequences, and found rates to be highest among Black members and lowest among Asian American members throughout. Psychotic disorders were associated with numerous other psychiatric disorders, medical conditions, suicide, and premature death, during the study period.
