Automated visual acuity evaluation based on preferential looking technique and controlled with remote eye tracking

What is it about?

Preferential looking method used for evaluation of visual acuity in babies and infants requires a skilled pediatric ophthalmologist. The goal of this study was to generate equal stimuli on the screen and track babies eye movements with eye-tracker. With this improvement visual acuity evaluation can be much more objective and also requires less skilled investigator.
