What is it about?

We have show that serum thyrotropin (TSH) even within the reference range were positively associated with the diagnosis of differentiated thyroid carcinoma in thyroid nodules.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that clinicians should include thyroid function as a clinical parameter to consider the risk of differentiated thyroid carcinoma in patients with nodular thyroid diseases.
