Why is it important?

Edukata participatory design is one of the few proven methods of achieving real change in classroom practices. This is the definitive source for Edukata. If you mention Edukata in an academic setting, refer to this book chapter.

Perspectives

I worked with teachers and students from over a dozen European countries for four years, improving upon our research group's participatory design method so it fits better with primary and secondary education teachers. I'm happy that the evaluation work from the 2500 classroom pilots bore fruit and we indeed were successful in kickstarting pedagogic reform in numerous European schools.
